As you all know – I LOVE MY OVERLOCKER (and in full disclosure, my coverstitch)

And I want you to love yours too!

The Overlocker Series of classes have been designed so you can get the most out of your Overlocker, and by the end of the series you will have made a capsule wardrobe, all out of knit fabric. We start with the Basics Class and make a T-shirt, the intermediate class covers more techniques and we make knit fabric pants (hello secret pj’s!), and then in the 2 advanced classes we make a pair of Hudson Pants and a Sweatshirt.

Each Class builds your skill level, and ideally are best done in order.

This Intermediate Class  has been designed to build on the techniques we learnt in the Basics Class.

You will learn some great new skills, like installing a zip using your Overlocker (oh, yes you can!), an easy elastic waistband, fabulous faux piping & we’ll improve on some techniques we’ve already covered and gain more confidence in your overlocking ability.

To get the most out of this class, we will be making a pair of these The Sewing Revival Snug Pants  in the afternoon. It is a simple one pattern piece pattern, so we will be able to practice our new elastic waistband technique and why not flatlock the seams, and maybe even do some decorative flatlocking, creating a faux side seam.

NB: This class follows on from the Overlocker Basics Class
