I’m having a demo/open day this Saturday 2nd Jul

I’m having a demo/open day this Saturday 2nd July at the Studio 💗.

My demo Babylock Euphoria has finally arrived, yes I’ve been able to have a bit of a play and it’s good!! I also have the Brother CV3550 Coverstitch as well - double sided Coverstitching anyone!!!

I have a great mix of sewing machines, Overlockers and Coverstitch machines to suit all budgets.

Open from 1pm till 4pm. See you then 😃.

Getting prepared for the @sewover50 #sewcolourblocking July challenge.

Love a good colour block. Brings back all the feels from the 80s 😅😃. I had a colour blocked jacket in the 80s, and you could zip off the arms & it became a vest! Thought I was the absolute shizzle when wearing that jacket/vest 😂.

Woot!! My favourite day of the year! Winter solsti

Woot!! My favourite day of the year! Winter solstice 💕. From here on in, the days start getting longer 🤩. And it’s truly a stunner day today - chilly & sunny 🌞. The cold & wintery weather really starts to bite from now but at least there is (sun)light at the end of the tunnel 😅.

And speaking of light at the end of the tunnel, about 6 weeks ago I finished my @themercerie #wallflowersblanket #wallflowersblanket2021.

It took me 8 months. The course was fabulous! Sue really does hold your hand.

My blanket still needs to be blocked & have ends woven in. Blocking will need to wait until summer - trying to dry 2.5kgs of blanket is going to take some heat/sun that’s for sure.

#ohgeorgeflatlayfail it’s a firm fav with all the furs, but now that it’s finished - I’m a bit reluctant to let the cats on it - too much work to have the cats pull at the yarn with their claws 😬. Ramona will not be happy - she’ll probably send a strongly worded email to management. And management will more than likely file that email under Tell Someone Who Cares 🤣.

If you’ve been thinking about doing this, just do it! More fun than you can shake a crochet hook at 😜.
