Freestyle Introduction Course
12 hours over 4 weeks – four x 3 hour classes

The Freestyle Introduction Course has been designed as a way to, well, introduce you to the Freestyle Classes. Suitable for Fearless Beginners and beyond who would like to improve and gain more skills (not suitable for Absolute Beginners, check this link here). This block of four weeks (run during a calendar month) are on either a Monday or Tuesday evening, 6pm till 9pm or a Thursday daytime 11am till 2.30pm. Once you’ve completed this course, you can then move onto becoming a Regular Freestyler.
You’ve definitely caught the sewing bug and just want to make all the things. Our freestyle classes are for sewsters from confident beginner and beyond who want regular ongoing classes. You may be a fairly new Sewster & have completed a few projects on your own, or you’re more experienced & you want to make your next project with some guidance, or you may have a specific project that you want help with, an unfinished project that deserves to be completed, or you just want to sew with like-minded sewsters. NB: Minimum age requirement is 18
IMPORTANT INFO: Payment confirms your place in class, if you are paying by Direct Credit, payment at the time of booking is required. Once booked and paid for there are no refunds or transfers to different days. You are booking your space in the class and I do not sell it to anyone else. Requirements:
- Bring your current project, whether a new pattern you want to try or an old project that needs finishing. Whatever it is you need to sew.
- We would expect you to have your own sewing machine and know how to sew (if you are brand new to sewing, please enroll in “Beginners Dressmaking Course’”). We have a very limited number of machines available for hire if your machine is in for a service or unavailable for one of the classes – check this link here for machine hire
- Bring all the notions you need to sew, eg: thread, needles, scissors etc
Skill Level: Confident Beginner and beyond
Skills Taught: The sky is the limit, Karina is on hand to offer advice if you get stuck
